After a long period of brokenness, I've finally updated sKadsense, so it works again. It now depends on curl to download the data. I've also updated the background and overall look - hopefully it looks a bit better now, as well as actually working
I've created a new superkaramba game called bubble burst. This is a very simple, but addictive logic game. The aim is to score as many points as possible. You score points by popping bubbles. But you can only pop them if they are next to, or above/below another bubble of the same colour. The more bubbles you pop at a time, the more points per bubble you get. When a bubble is popped, the bubbles above fall down to fill the space.

To pop a bubble, you must first select it with the middle mouse button. This will highlight all the adjacent bubbles, and tell you how many points you get for that move. Then to pop them, left click on them. Simple - now try and get the high score.

Check out this screenie:

This release sees a new default background theme - I think it's very professional looking, and is my first real foray into the world of the world of the gimp. Here's a couple of pictures of the new theme:

In addition, there are a number of bug fixes, that have been laying dormant for a while:

Fixed a networking bug that meant that downloading data failed when first opening the theme - I can't believe more people haven't reported this bug - it's a major.

Text resizing in the detail panel now works properly for the "emerge text" animation.

Fixed a but with the daily forecast panel not opening and closing properly after repeated operation.

Other minor tidy ups.

After a very long hiatus, I'm releasing version 4.0 of sKalcuverter. The main changes in this release are cosmetic. There is a new background, which I think looks great. I've also started using suslik's new text input box, which provides much more scope for design with the theme. You can download the new version from here. This is a screenshot of the new look:
This is a facelift, update, and re-code of the Translate theme from Suslik. This version utilises a new technique for coding input boxes for Superkaramba, which was written (again) by Suslik. This new technique allows for a transparent input box, which allows for a much nicer looking theme. Features:

Translate from and to many languages using the Goggle translation engine;

Drag and drop text to the text input area for translation;

Copy the translated text to the clipboard (klipper needs to be running);

This is the infamous 1.0 release of thinlqiuidfilm. I've finally identified the cause of the last known bug in tlf - relating to the progress bar. I think this is caused by *ubuntu's insistence on using the dash shell as default, rather than the bash shell. I've put a little routine in the install script to detect this, and guidance on how to fix it. Otherwise, the only other changes are some minor tweaks to the install script.

Next step is to widen the scope of tlf to be a task based gui for converting video to specific device formats or for specific formats. Hopefully, this will happen soon.
This version brings a few feature enhancements, and a lot of bug fixes:

features:

Display total size for files to be transferred to the ipod on transfer panel;

Display free space on ipod on transfer panel;

bug fixes:

Updated h264 encoding options, so that it works with newer versions of ffmpeg - should fix issues with fedora 6;

A bunch of minor tidy up bug fixes.
